2. What this website does — and does not — collect
This website is a static company presentation. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, embeds no third-party services (no external fonts, maps, videos or social-media widgets) and loads every file from its own domain. Personal data is processed in two situations only: when your browser requests a page (server logs) and when you send us a message through the contact form.
3. Server logs
When you visit www.vvx.at, the web server of our hosting provider records, for technical and security purposes, the requested page, date and time, the amount of data transferred, the referring page, your browser and operating system, and your IP address. These logs are used solely to operate the site securely, to detect abuse and to diagnose faults; they are not merged with other data or used to identify individual visitors.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website.
Retention: log files are deleted or anonymised by the hosting provider within the standard log-rotation period, at most a few weeks.
4. Hosting
The website is hosted by SuperHosting.BG (Superhosting.BG OOD, Sofia, Bulgaria — within the European Union), which processes the server-log data described above on our behalf as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. No data is transferred outside the EU/EEA.
5. Contact form and email
If you use the contact form, the details you enter — name, email address, and optionally company, phone number, subject and your message — are sent by email to office@vvx.at so that we can answer your enquiry. The form submission itself is not stored on the web server; the email is kept in our mailbox for as long as it is needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and thereafter as required by statutory retention obligations (in particular the seven-year period under §132 Bundesabgabenordnung for business correspondence). The same applies to enquiries sent to us directly by email or telephone.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
6. Recipients
Your data is not sold or passed to third parties for their own purposes. Recipients are limited to our hosting and email providers acting as processors, and — where legally required — public authorities.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15), to have it rectified (Art. 16) or erased (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To exercise any of these rights, write to office@vvx.at.
If you believe that the processing of your data infringes data-protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Wien, www.dsb.gv.at.
8. Changes
We will update this policy when the website or the applicable law changes. The current version is always available at this address.
